Tobacco & Cucumber Workers

We are seeking 12 open positions for Tobacco Farm Labours, seasonal full-time. During such time, within these workers 6-10 will go to hand harvest Cucumbers for a duration.

Season begins for Tobacco May 01 through up to November 04, 2023 and Cucumber Picking from July 10 - September 15, 2023 in the middle of Tobacco season, both at a rate of $15.83 hour.

Both job obligations are required upon applying.

Language of choice is English, no education required, no experience, will train. Early mornings, weekends, overtime, with flexible hours and available from 30-44 hours a week. Prefer valid drivers license for road driving from farm to farm with product.

Work conditions:

fast-paced environment, respective tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, walking, standing, bending, crouching, kneeling and some overtime maybe required.

Outdoors, wet/damp, dusty, noisy at times, all weather conditions,.

Job Description:

Greenhouse is:
clipping, watering, weeding and cleaning,.

Personal Suitability:
work well with others, organised, at times work alone, reliable and dependable. Good attendance is necessity and reliable.
