Overhead Door Technician.

Patrick Sprack Limited (PSL) was formed in 2006 as a Preventative Maintenance Oriented HVAC company.

Since this time, we have become a reputable and leading Northern Ontario HVAC-R contractor to the mines, industrial sites as well as commercial properties.


PSL provides a variety of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, petroleum, propane, and refrigeration services ranging from planned maintenance (both preventative and full coverage), inspections and diagnostic services as well as repairs, retrofits and new installations for commercial and industrial mechanical systems.


Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Promote a positive customer experience with a strong focus upon a qualitative service/product
  • Technical sales by providing proper measurements, ordering supplies, and completing work orders.
  • Installing garage doors (Residential, Commercial, Industrial)
  • Installing dock levelers (Hydraulic, Air-Powered, Mechanical)
  • Troubleshooting maintenance issue (Dock and Doors)
  • Maintenanec and repair work (Dock & Doors) Repairing machines and systems, equipment installation and operation monitoring to ensure that mechanical doors are installed and functioning properly.
  • Complete all proper documentation, work orders and any required part sourcing
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:


  • May be required to work Underground
  • Knowledge of repairing machines and systems, equipment installation and operation monitoring to ensure that mechanical doors are installed and functioning properly
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
  • Proficient in the use of modern technology and knowledgable of electrical wiring and welding techniques
  • Keen analytical mind
  • Onthejob training is necessary to gain knowledge of the machines and tools used indoor installation and replacement.
  • Overhead door specialists can demonstrate their expertise through voluntary certification.
  • Minimun 2 year Overhead Door experience
  • Minimum 2 year Dock Levelers experinece
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
