Your role within the team:

Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.
Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, construction, quality client & subcontractors.
Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts.
Responsible for helping implement the project schedule and track budget for assigned engineering, procurement, construction segments of the project.
Coordinates with Engineering to ensure that the technical documents are prepared in support of the project.
Coordinates the preparation and delivery of project deliverables.
Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
Ensure work is performed within quality program requirements.
Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.
Employee may be assigned to shortterm field service assignments on Candu Field Services projects, typically during a customer's outages. During these assignments, the employee may be requested to perform work in a radiological work environment, once trained and qualified, and under the supervision of radiation protection personnel.

5+ years' experience supporting various type of projects including construction, manufacturing or engineering services projects.
12 years' experience leading individuals and teams is an asset.
Diploma in Engineering Technology or Construction Technology or equivalent is an asset.
Experience working in a Nuclear environment.
Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management principles.
Knowledge of Non Destructive Examination and CGSB standards is an asset
Knowledge of ASME/CSA welding standards and practices is an asset.
Can build a team and can inspire them to perform and work together towards a common goal.
An appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry.
Understanding of project delivery methodology including earned value, critical path scheduling, prime contract and subcontract management, procurement and supply chain methodology and inspection and test plans.
Lead by example and set high standards for Health & Safety and Nuclear Safety Culture.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints and specifications.
Working knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture.
Excellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
