Helly Hansen is looking for a Key Account Manager - Sport Chek and Marks to manage all sales aspects related to the sell-in and sell thru of the HH brand within Sport Chek, Atmosphere and Mark's retail banners


The main concentration


Lead in the development and execution of the Sport Chek and Mark's seasonal sales plans in accordance with local and global sales strategies and financial objectives.


Responsibility/authority:

Assortment planning

  • Create seasonal category assortment plan recommendations that reflect financial and merchandising objectives
  • Facilitate seasonal SMU's as required
  • Provide SMU and Inline samples as required

Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain seasonal BPM's
  • Secure customer seasonal Booking Budgets/OTB targets in advance of Booking season
  • Utilize GTM planning calendar to establish and maintain seasonal forecasts within Anaplan customer simulation tool and BPM
  • Sketch review
  • Proto mtg
  • Preline KALM

PO management

  • Ensure that all customer PO's are submitted via EDI correctly and accurately and in accordance with Booking deadlines. This will require close communication with the customer operations team who oversee the PO entry process.
  • Ensure SMU styles and colours are created internally (via Anaplan and M3) to ensure POs can be accepted for those styles.
  • Seasonal delivery review and communication. Work with Buying and Logistics team to mitigate critical delivery issues.

Sell thru analysis

  • Weekly/monthly sell thru analysis and reporting.

Marketing planning and execution

  • Ensure alignment between Chek/Marks Buying teams and HH marketing team
  • Communicate customer campaign styles to both supply planning and Customer Service
  • Manage Chek MDM process in cooperation with marketing team

Customer Management

  • Foster customer relationships internally and externally
  • Facilitate cross functional communication and alignment (ie Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Facilitate meetings as required

Financial

  • Input into seasonal product line pricing to achieve GM objectives
  • Monthly shipping targets

Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Minimum of five years of Key Account sales management experience with three to five years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Outdoor, Ski and Active markets and competitors
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, knowledge and use of the products
  • Strong apparel and footwear product background

Computer skills
Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level ability with Word, Excel and other required software programs.
