We are looking for a tech-savvy Team Lead to join our team-
Your Role :Support Management in leading the team by ensuring all standard warehouse practices and work instructions are followed to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy.

Your Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in the execution of standard warehousing processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, checking and loading customer orders and products, value added processing and subassembly in accordance with client specific training as applicable, to ensure deadlines are met
- Establish team priorities and complete multiple tasks with mínimal supervision
- Delegate tasks to warehouse employees
- Act as a liaison between management and front line employees
- Train new hires and agency associates
- Manage time and attendance for agency associates (manual time sheets, roll call, and agency follow up)
- Ensures all interactions with internal and external personnel are professional and cordial
- Promotes a safe work environment and ensures compliance with all Company/ HSE safety, security and housekeeping policies and protocols; respects customer and company property and equipment and support
- Proactive in accident & incident prevention and fills out the applicable reports promptly and accurately when required
- Strives to increase personal knowledge and shares work knowledge with less experienced staff
- Employee maintains an acceptable availability for work record
- Demonstrates initiative and responsibility in all tasks in support of department and business goals
- Supports, and personally contributes to, the company's continuous improvement philosophy
- Responds positively towards changing business parameters and supports peers and the leadership team
- Other duties assigned by the Company
Your Skills and Experiences:
- 2+ years' experience working in a Warehouse/Distribution Centre
- Direct experience with distribution centre processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and subassembly)
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and cost structures
- Intermediate knowledge of the Warehouse Management System (LOGISTAR) and proficient computer skills and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer orientation and problem solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and capability to work independently and make decisions with minimum supervision based on internal and external customer requirements
- Time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Proven ability to delegate tasks and prioritize work
- Availability to work periodic overtime and a variety of shifts in order to meet the requirements of the operation
- Knowledge of and compliance with health and safety standards
- Experience in leading teams will be considered an asset
