We are seeking Application Specialist

Full-Time 12-months Contract

What will be your role?

  • EMRI, an electronic medical records management system, and
  • GoldCare, a client record management (CRM) system

Required Qualifications:


  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other IT related areas is preferred.
  • Experience with completing quality assurance (QA) testing is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
  • Be able to comply with PHIPA regulations to ensure that Patient Health Information (PHI) confidentiality is always maintained.
  • Attention to detail and a drive to lead testing, and ensure that new features, upgrades, and enhancements are tested thoroughly to minimize impacts to the front line is required.
  • The ability to easily communicate (both written and oral) at a technical/ business level and directly with the vendor to ensure issues are understood at all levels.
  • Supreme organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and issue escalations.
  • Autonomous, independent worker with the ability to work with team members closely.
  • Ability to be flexible in hours worked including some work after hours and on weekends (for new releases/updates).
