About the Role


We are seeking a Digital Marketing Co-op Student who loves writing engaging digital communication for targeted audiences to inspire conversation and support business growth.


You will gain a lot of experience working with our marketing team and never run out of things to try.

You don't need to be a marketing guru. We would like you to be whip-smart to trying out new strategies after analyzing competitors.


This is an in-office position at 6700 Millcreek Drive Unit #3, Mississauga, ON L5N 8B3; Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (full-time).


Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Set up Google and LinkedIn advertisements
  • Work with a variety of partners, both internal and external, to identify and develop compelling and engaging content
  • Contribute to the development of creative strategies that will boost branded content and increase audience engagement
  • Assist with the design, build and maintenance of our social media presence
  • Optimize both traffic and conversion rates through organic SEO
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Conduct research and stayup to date on competitors and trends; develop digital communication strategies accordingly
  • Manage projects by developing work plans, obtaining approvals and meeting deadlines
  • Foster and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the overall vision of the Marketing Team as needed

Requirements/Skills

  • Familiar with creating SEOoptimized contents
  • Reliable and able to meet all deliverable deadlines
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Bilingual in French/English is an asset)
  • Understanding of social media (LinkedIn is an asset)
  • A strong critical thinker able to analyze and synthesize complex material into interesting marketable content
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, team player and demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • A capacity to work well under pressure and respond effectively in a demanding and fastpaced environment

Educational Requirements

  • Enrolled in a postsecondary Degree/Diploma program in Communications, Marketing, Business, Computer Science or a related field
