- Responsible for supervising the planning, execution, and completion of engineering prototype builds.
- Develop assembly methods and techniques for use by production team.
- Manage and mentor a team of technicians.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that prototypes meet design specifications and performance requirements.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
- Oversee the documentation of prototype development processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Technologist or equivalent.
- 3 - 6 years of experience in Prototype Builds or similar in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, soldering and welding equipment, etc.
- Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
