REPORTS TO:
Sales Manager - Turf Division


HOURS:
Full-time, 8:30am - 4:30pm with limited travel

Join a dynamic team passionate in turf, plants and ornamental horticulture. We offer the opportunity to take on interesting and varied challenges.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Annually execute strategies to grow sales and profitability in your territory
  • Technical support for customers in the use of pest control products, seeds, fertilizer, innovative consumables
  • Assist in forecasting
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Development and execution of marketing initiatives for particular products
  • Assist sales manager and/or product and marketing manager in developing new products as needed
  • Committing to further increase market share and grow our landscape/sports turf/municipality and sod business
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Manage and enter customer quotations into accounting system
  • Main account contact regarding price and credit terms
  • Coordinate timely deliveries with customer service
  • Pest and disease identification
  • Participate in company sales meetings as required
  • Regularly attend industry meetings including all nongolf associations (Sports Turf)
  • Maintain a strict code of confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience in golf and lawncare market preferred
  • Technical knowledge gained through industry experience and postsecondary education (degree or diploma)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment
