What You'll Be Doing:


You will be a welcomed member of the Long Term Care team at Creedan Valley Care Community, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents' lives.


As an Office Manager, you'll be the main contact for residents & families at the community supporting with their trust accounts and monthly billing as well as promote a positive experience for resident and team member in accordance with the organization's vision, mission, and values.

As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the Community, where the focus is always on cultivating happiness in daily life.


How You'll Succeed:

  • Service Coordination to Resident and Families
  • Process expenses and resident trust accounts
  • Administration of monthly expenses
  • Maintaining petty cash system with accurate recording
  • Prepare and provide Support Services Office with monthly reconciliation
  • Support the leadership team to improve Team Member Experience
  • Coordinates the orientation process for newly hired team
  • Support in the management with WSIB claims and implementing Early & Safe Return to Work Programs
  • Meet with team members on modified work duties and maintaining claims management communication log
  • Maintain Sienna Policy Manuals, ensure new and updated policies and procedures are properly filed and up to date and available for Team Members as required
  • Payroll and Team Member Management
  • Processing biweekly payroll confirming accuracy
  • Weekly audits in advance of biweekly payroll
  • Maintaining vacation, sick and statutory holiday leaves
  • Provide back up and support to reception, and Nursing Scheduler

Who you are:

  • You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living with comfort, dignity, and respect
  • You have successfully completed a bookkeeping certificate or accounting courses at a Community College, and possess proven office administration skills
  • You have human resources experience, preferably in a unionized environment
  • You have experience processing and reconciling biweekly payroll

What you need to know:

  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
  • You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
