We're looking for a Trainee Valve Technicians to join the Score Group team based in Edmonton.

About the role
This role is Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day with overtime when required.

What you will Learn

  • Strip, assess, inspect and assemble all types of valves including PSV's, Ball, Globe, Gate, Choke, Check, Butterfly, Control etc in both workshop and site based environments
  • Strip, assess, inspect and assemble all types of valve operators
  • Carry out pressure tests to various industry specifications
  • Work safely and adhere to Company safety systems, standards or any other requirements from customers or their sites
  • Ensuring all relevant workshop equipment and tooling are maintained regularly and all records kept up to date
    Qualifications
  • Technical qualification in a mechanical discipline is preferred but not essential
  • Full drivers' licence is essential

Experience

  • Previous experience working within a valve repair workshop environment or on site
  • Experience gained within the valve, valve service or Oil & Gas industries
