Canadian Jerky is a professional pet food manufacturer based in South Surrey, British Columbia.

We are proud to offer three main product lines that include soft treats, one-ingredient jerky and air-dried foods.


Duties

  • Manages the Finance team and operates the daytoday activities including accounts receivables and payables (AR/AP), billing, invoices, cash flow managing, documentation, and internal systems management
  • Prepare and reconcile the company's monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements on schedule.
  • Responsible for monthly / quarterly / annual financial statement reporting, including consolidated financial statements using IFRS and internal reporting format
  • Monitoring all tax compliance like GST/HST and corporate tax remittances
  • Supervise and manage the company's assets, including fixed assets and current assets.
  • Communicate with third parties and headquarters to manage annual financial audits and legal compliances issues.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as required.
  • Supervise and manage the company's warehouse inventory and funds,
  • Prepare relevant financial statement and data in accordance with the requirements of headoffice, and assist with the audits in a timely basis,
  • Complete other work assgiend by the management team or supervisor,

Qualifications and responsibilities

  • CPA designation with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years relevant experience in positions that require financial reporting and analysis
  • Familiar with Canada accounting and taxation compliance
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with financial or accounting system is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin

Job Types:

Salary:
$60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
