Penticton and District Society for Community Living (PDSCL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with diverse abilities in Penticton and surrounding communities.

We provide support and services for people with intellectual disabilities, seniors, low-income adults, families and persons facing homelessness.

PDSCL is looking for a CASUAL Building Maintanace Worker to work at different locations in the company.

The building maintenance worker will perform maintenance and repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment in one or more areas, such as electrical, plumbing, painting and grounds-keeping.


Education and/or Training Qualifications:


  • Grade 10, plus related vocational training such as a building maintenance course.
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Performance Skills & Abilities:


Employment Requirements:


  • Valid CPR/First Aid
  • Satisfactory criminal record check for Vulnerable Adults and Children
  • Working knowledge of production and safety matters
  • Knowledge of fire safety and fire equipment
  • Valid class 5 drivers license
  • TB Skin Test
  • Medical clearance
  • Adherence to current Provincial Health Office Orders for Covid19 Vaccine
