Role Description
Working closely with the Director of Finance, Field Execution Manager, Business Development, and the Field Service Coordinator, the Project Estimator is a vital member of the Viking CIP team who:

  • Prepares quotations and bids for project leads sourced by Business Development.
  • Assists in the coordination of daytoday field activities.
  • Champions Viking CIP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Ensures that manpower, equipment, materials, and job schedules are prepared and assigned to the Field Execution Manager and the Field Services staff allocated for the work.
  • Ensures that work is planned according to the budget(s) of the job/project.
  • Develops and maintains the product/service catalogue in Viking CIP's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Assists in the development of work procedures.
  • Champions Viking CIP's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management System (HSEQMS), ensuring the protection of our people, our stakeholders, the environment, and our reputation as a leading service provider.

Requirements:


  • Project Management Skills and Experience
  • Handson style comfortable doing, learning, and teaching.
  • Attention to technical detail, able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, P&ID's, and flow diagrams.
  • Planning, Coordinating and Scheduling Experience
  • Client Relationship Management / Customer Service skills
  • Experience estimating/quoting projects/services delivery to industry.
  • Working Knowledge of Office Software (MS Excel, MS Office, Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and MS Project)
  • Document Repository and Doc Versioning Experience.

Salary:
$70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
