Swim Instructor


Duties:

• Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
• Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and water safety
• Create lesson plans and develop appropriate activities to enhance learning
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students
• Ensure the safety of all participants during swim lessons
• Maintain a clean and organized pool area

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students, preferably in a physical education or childcare setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Experience or knowledge in other sports such as basketball, martial arts, cheerleading, or judo is a plus
• Ability to climb in and out of the pool and lift equipment as needed

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
