Hours of Work:
Thursday and Friday - 3:00PM to 11:00PM; Saturday - 9:00pm to 6:00am


SUMMARY:


Logistics Coordinator takes care of logistics and customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, supporting delivery personnel, handling complaints, all in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

Responsibilities also include answering the phone, and other clerical duties requested by the supervisor.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Route distribution and support to delivery drivers on the road (monitoring).
  • Follow up on orders and notify the customer of any activity related to their merchandise.
  • Correct inventory errors and communicate daily with the client and the operations team to address various issues. Provide proof of shipment to the customer if required.
  • Prepare, classify, and distribute billing papers for delivery partners and ensure accurate billing by checking invoices generated by the system.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by responding to all their requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Prepare various reports for the management team
  • Control all documents associated with orders.
  • Coordinate the implementation of a logistics plan to achieve delivery time and productivity objectives.
  • Participate in the implementation of work procedures developed jointly with operations, transport, and customer service.
  • Responsible for ontime shipments as prioritized by customer ensuring daily workload is executed well.
  • Monitor productivity levels of operations and communicate problems to supervisor.
  • Train staff, when necessary, on procedures, policies, and special projects.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment
  • Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE:


  • 3 years of experience in a 3PL warehouse/transportation environment
  • 12 year of experience in an office environment
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS)

EDUCATION

  • High school education. Post-Secondary education preferred.
  • Working towards a logistics management or supply chain certificate program preferred.
