    YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

    Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, the Human Resources Agent is part of the HR department and collaborates with other departments of the mine. Jointly with the HR Team, she/he carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee support and link with the centralized administrative support, selection interviews for internal postings, responsible of the induction of new employees and benefits enrollment and gives support in work relations files. She/He will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
    • Participate in the internal recruitment process;
    • Provides a support to all employees for any work relations related situation.
    • Ensure all HR actions are in compliance with Agnico policies, procedures, laws and regulation in force;
    • Ensure the community liaison by organizing and participating to the liaison activities (Nunavut Day, Family day and Christmas);
    • Provide customer service to employees regarding any requests/questions;
    • Provide an important support to employees for any work and non-work related issues;
    • Apply the best HR practices in the everyday job.

      WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
      • 2-5 years of experience in administrative related work;
      • Experience in Human Resources is an asset;
      • Mining experience is an asset;
      • Strong ability to effectively communicate in Inuktitut and English (Oral and written);
      • Experience working in a multicultural environment;
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team;
      • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
      • Position is reserved for Inuit Candidates.
