  • Toronto, Ontario (CA): 2 factories and 1 distribution Center (cookies)
  • Columbus, Ohio (USA): 1 factory (cookies & rolled dough)
  • Liberty, South Carolina (USA): 1 factory (pancakes & waffles)

Summary:


The Demand Planner will be responsible for all aspects of the forecasting and supply chain management process, including operational tasks relating to inventory replenishment and suppliers.

The Demand Planner will maintain an effective, forecast driven supply chain and liaise closely with key stakeholders within our Canadian operation.

The Demand Planner ultimately be responsible for several product lines and work towards achieving specific financial and service level targets.


Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Ensure timely collection and management of forecast data, perform gap/trend analysis and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Ensure operational supply chain processes are followed and planning data is correctly maintained.
  • Ensure continuous communication and collaboration of forecasting and inventory management data with the key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPI's), Days in Inventory (DII) and Forecast Accuracy.
  • Validate that demand data is correct and that appropriate customer forecasts are developed
  • Validate that the supply plan and replenishment orders are aligned with forecasts
  • Perform detailed inventory analysis to identify opportunities and optimize inventory levels
  • Perform rootcause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership
