Summary:
Design managers
coordinate all design matters relating to a project, that will use cabinets and other workspace solutions to be installed into a vehicle workspace such as a truck or trailer.
They will help to ensure that the teams building the project work together smoothly, and that everything is delivered on time and within budget.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to Manage a design team.
- Managing the design process using time awareness and technical expertise.
- Encouraging and inspiring design consultants to produce their best work using their experience, and resources in a costeffective way.
- Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice, where appropriate.
- Take responsibility for all tasks assigned, keep track of progress and status against project goals & schedule.
- Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
- Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher.
- Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Engineering BOMs in ERP, correcting BOM per ERP requirements, ensuring UOM

Position Requirements:
- BA in Engineering
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Sheet metal experience, EPDM, proficient with SolidWorks based Simulationsstatic,
- Ability to schedule, plan and lead and direct the team in completing the project.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
