Description
_We are looking for an excavator operator with at least three years of civil construction, demolition, excavation experience._
Seeking to begin as soon as possible.

Among the duties and obligations include, but are not limited to:
- Notify the project manager if any challenges arise, such as a design disagreement, the need for more work, or the revelation of changing/unexpected conditions.
- Ensure that resources, equipment, and labour are used as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Check that site deliveries are complete and in accordance with the materials order.
- Harmony must be established by harmonizing the different aspects of the construction process.
- At the start of the shift, organize the necessary equipment for the day's job.
- Assist pipelayers with the installation of lasers or levels.
- Check the site at the end of the shift to make sure no tools were left behind.
- Make sure that any open excavations, manholes, and so on are properly covered off.
- Maintain and store construction tools and equipment on a regular basis.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills for the Position
- Have indepth knowledge of construction supplies and materials.
- Have indepth knowledge of health and safety.
- Expertise in construction methods, equipment, and Occupational Health and Safety standards
- A valid BC class 5 driver's license, a clean driving record, and evidence of reliable transportation are required.
- Be cautious, selfmotivated, and cooperative.
- The capacity to perform with mínimal supervision.
- Communication abilities that are effective
- Reading, comprehending, and interpreting construction blueprints, drawings, and plans.
- Capability to work outside in all weather conditions and for lengthy periods of time as needed (possibly weekends).
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary:
$30.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
