About the Job:

Currently, we are seeking a
Project Manager to join our Security team in
Victoria, BC.

Project Manager Responsibilities/Duties:

Identify potential business opportunities
Maintain good relationship with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end users
Manage all areas of the project including, contract management, financials, schedules, labour requirements, materials, deficiencies, etc.
Estimate changes, complete required paperwork and ensure that the job is billed out Houle is paid
Review reports and provide analytics to project team
Arrange for project manuals to be completed
Ensure that asbuilt drawings are completed and sent to the owner
Work onsite with the foreman and superintendent as a team to review the project documents, and assess success and challenges, once the project is complete

Project Manager Experience and Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of Security Systems including CCTV and Access Control
Experience working within the BC Security Industry and familiarity with local Consultants and Architects
35 years project management experience with relevant education/training.
Project estimating experience. Familiarity with Accubid software an asset.
Demonstrated ability to sell Security related products and services
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with project stakeholders, field team and office support resources
Good understanding of English language and communication skills
Security system trades qualification and/or electrical trades qualification an asset
Experience in Risk management and contract knowledge an asset
IT, Networks and Communication systems knowledge is a definite asset
