ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Responsible for welcoming customers and gathering the required information to identify the vehicle repair and maintenance required in a timely and professional manner.
  • Addressing the primary reason for their visit by listening to the customers reason for bringing vehicle in for maintenance. Collecting customer images and/or videos taken of the issue with their vehicle.
  • Conduct a quality vehicle health check with the customer including an analysis of the customers b pillar.
  • Advise customers on maintenance schedules and explain the importance of maintenance based on manufacturers or technicians recommendations.
  • Confirm when the vehicle will be dispatched into the shop and when the customer can expect an update throughout the day
  • Following up with the customer throughout the day keeping them up to date in terms of when their vehicle will be finished along with additional services required as provided by the technician
  • Engage in an active delivery with the customer upon pick up of the vehicle; going over service and booking their next service appointment
  • Verifies the scope of warranty coverage if applicable, prior to the work being done and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained
  • Utilizes dealership software on all customer pay repair orders

ABOUT YOU

  • 12 years of Service Advising experience in a dealership environment is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to effectively deal with customers concerns or complaints and handle them with composure.
  • Good understanding of the brand, maintenance and aftermarket warranty requirements.
  • Must be computer literate with an ability to use a variety of programs and be a fast learner.
  • You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
  • You thrive in an environment that supports collaboration and respect.
  • You are passionate about making a difference.
  • You are honest, trustworthy and care about providing the best possible customer experience.
