At Enbridge, our Utility Services Representatives interact with over 4 million customers across Ontario by performing crucial tasks such as natural gas pipeline maintenance, appliance inspections, and responding to natural gas emergencies.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

Safe and efficient execution of predictive and preventative maintenance on natural gas plant which includes customer and distribution station maintenance, natural gas appliance inspection and activation, utilization inspections and infractions
Perform natural gas emergency response activities including line-breaks, leak, and odor investigations, liaise with fire and police officials, TSSA Inspectors and others as required actively promoting plant damage prevention and awareness
Perform strenuous manual labour and be able to wear all appropriate safety and personal protective equipment
Complete documented plant service pre-works (company driven adds, moves, changes)
Interact with external customers, maintaining a positive and professional manner that builds the Company image
Interact with Enbridge Advisors, Supervisors, Managers, and other internal groups as required
Keep assigned safety training programs current and adhere to communicated company processes and safety standards
Participate on standby rotation as required

Who You Are (Qualifications):

Minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent with the ability to learn
Ability to meet Enbridge Company's requirements as to "General Qualifications"
Ability to obtain and maintain a Gas Utility Technician Certificate and Pipeline Inspector's Certificate as established by TSSA for natural gas distribution utilities and within the required timeframe
Ability to progress satisfactorily through all Utility Service Representative training program and progression steps (C2 to A1)
Ability to operate a personal computer and related company software
Hold a valid driver license and be able to maintain it according to Enbridge acceptable safe driving standards-
Ability to effectively direct and coordinate utility services construction and maintenance activities
Ability to confidently represent Enbridge in Municipal or Customer based projects or inquires
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work independently or in a crew environment
