Responsibilities:

Fleet care
Maintain fleet tracking and stock flare (Geotab)
Manage the fleet vendors and contracts
Manage partner carriers
Planning distribution center space & growth across tantrums 3 regions.
Minimum visits across tantrum the Tantrum 3 regions
Coordinate with other maintenance staff and the terminals to determine priorities for equipment repair and to improve our facilities
Expense analyst and Control, to be able to monitor and optimize our operations
Direct communication with partners
Coordinate deliveries with WH Managers
Insurance & Claims management
Conducting weekly meetings with warehouse manager and facilitate communications across the Tantrum network
Set goals and objectives for the team and ensure they are met
Ensure best practices are shared and maintained in all locations
Monitor team performance and implement strategies for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and coordination
Ensure productivity in a work environment
Follow up with our Safety and health regulations (SST )

Requirements:

Strong leadership and management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work flexible hours based on operational needs
Previous operations, transportation, experience preferred or similar role
Minimum 3 years warehousing business experience/transportation freight is an asset
Ability to motivate and inspire team members
Relevant degree in warehousing buisness is an asset
Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, and word processing computer skills within a Microsoft environment.
