    Position Summary: Reporting to the North America National Sales Manager, Analytical & Organic Science, the Inside Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing clients. This position will be responsible for effectively communicating our value proposition, understanding customer needs, and closing sales deals.

    · Proactively reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to generate leads and establish rapport.

    · Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

    · Present product/service demonstrations and effectively communicate the features and benefits to potential clients.

    · Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and objectives.

    · Follow up with leads and maintain ongoing communication to move prospects through the sales funnel.

    · Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding pricing, quotes, and product/service availability.

    · Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, update records, and track sales activities.

    · Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

    · Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets on a consistent basis.

    Education/Experience:

    Scientific (chemistry, biochemistry) degree or relevant field from four-year College or University.

    Hands-on experience in a Laboratory environment and experience with chromatography is an asset.

    Language Ability:

    Mathematical Ability:

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should be:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Expert skills in spreadsheets and word processor usage
    • Adept at reviewing data and extracting meaningful performance indicators
    • Hubspot and SAP experience an asset.

    • Work will be predominately done remotely.
    • Required to travel 30% of the time.
    • The level of noise is moderate (general office and warehouse distribution).
    • This position requires working with office equipment, and computer equipment.
    • Ability to travel internationally is required.
