    Part-Time/Casual- 2 days/ week, Occupational Therapist, Drivers Assessment and Training (Hamilton)
    The successful candidate will be familiar working in a team environment and in delegating treatment to appropriately qualified licensed driving instructors

    As the successful candidate, you are a graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy and are a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

    Conducting driving assessments (in clinic and on-road)

    • Planning, monitoring and modifying treatment plans that include on-road driver training through the use of driving instructors.
    • Maturity, confidence and compassion to make and communicate life-altering decisions for clients with respect to community mobility.
    • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with administrative assistants, driving instructors as well as with families, vendors and case managers
    • Competence in the learning and use of various computer applications including MS Word, Excel (basics), Power Point, Outlook as well as client management software
    • Advanced knowledge of driving, licensing requirements and vehicles is a benefit
    • Valid driver's license and use of a vehicle is required
    • in Occupational Therapy or equivalent is required.
    • Experience in the driver rehabilitation and vehicle modification field are preferred. CDR designation is an asset.
