Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Assemble orders and preparing goods for shipment.
  • Record shipment data including weight, charges and space availability.
  • Receive and unpack materials and supplies; Operate a forklift to move product.
  • Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Complete shipping and receiving reports; general filing of paperwork and count, label, and shelve items.
  • Load/Unload and secure product on delivery trucks.
  • Complete electronic receipt of goods and confirmation of shipments.
  • Work towards maintaining a 98.5% on time shipping goal.
  • Follow all proper safety policies and procedures.
  • Actively contribute to lean, quality and safety initiatives.
  • Able and willing to work overtime as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements _(Minimum Education and Experience) _**:

  • High school diploma considered an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment considered an asset
  • Forklift and skid steer operation experience considered an asset
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar or related role
  • Valid driver's license (Class 5) with an acceptable driver's abstract.
