Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a SERVICE TECHNCIAN in our Sarnia branch.

Summary

Levitt-Safety is actively seeking a Service Technician to specialize in Fire Services, focusing on training and carrying out inspections and maintenance of fire extinguishers, as well as Fire and Life safety equipment.

Your role will involve diverse maintenance and repair activities including:

Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites
Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with valueadd suggestions for followup and maintenance
Performing sitespecific training for owners and endusers
Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs

Qualifications:

Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent handson role with vehicles or other motorized equipment
Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools
Experience, education, or training & working with fire protection and/or suppression systems is a strong asset
A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Able to work with technology and mobile devices
