Description
We're seeking a dependable, detail oriented individual to join our team of Pharmacy Technicians.

Our technicians are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all work areas, as well as ensuring that measures are always taken to meet compliance standards.

Additionally, our pharmacy technicians assist with the filing of insurance claims, counting and dispensing medications, answering questions about medications on the phone, and maintaining patient records.

We are looking for team players who are hard-working and dedicated to providing thoughtful and knowledgeable technical support.


Responsibilities:


  • Gather and distribute prescription medications to patients.
  • Take and record patient's vital signs such as weight, pulse, temperature, and blood pressure.
  • Recognize symptoms of potentially dangerous drug interactions.
  • Record information about prescriptions, allergies, and patient responses to medications on a computer.
  • Posses a Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Thornhill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Pharmacy assistant: 1 year (required)

Language:


  • Russian OR Korean (preferred)
