    MANAGER, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

    You're the Nick Fury of communications, working to help a team of superheroes achieve the organization's goals.   • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and guide cross-functional teams on projects and programs.
  • Work closely with the Director and stakeholders to develop and execute effective internal and external communication strategies to support business goals.
  • Provide high-quality communications advice, timely research and recommendations to help solve business challenges and manage risk.
  • Collaborate with business units and the executive team to execute communication plans.
  • Provide direction and coaching to the Corporate Communications team.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans.
  • Work with various media to create compelling and consistent messages for external and internal audiences.
  • Be accountable for establishing and maintaining employee relations consistent with the organization's values and expected behaviours.
  • WHAT YOU'VE DONE

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • You're no newbie—you already have 10 years of progressively responsible experience in communication-related roles.
  • You have a minimum of three years in a management or leadership role.
  • You "get" people and know what it takes to create a great experience for your team and for members.
  • You're experienced in managing communications in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • You have proven strategic planning abilities, with a focus on managing change and creating innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues and programs.
  • You have proven experience in crisis communications, media relations and reputation management.
  • Your strong analysis and decision-making skills will guide and focus the business unit on success.
