SA Institute is a community partner of EMSB (English Montreal School Board) and one of the biggest adult vocational training centers in Montreal.

SA Institute provides a wide variety of learning opportunities that lay the foundation for a new life in Canada. The primary objective of SA Institute is to help the Immigrants adapt to Canadian life.

SA Institute has four departments:

Loan and Bursary Program DVS
International Students & Immigration
Kids & Teens
Linguistic (TEFAQ, IELTS)

ART TEACHER FOR KIDS

Are you passionate about unleashing the artistic potential in young minds? Do you have the enthusiasm and skills to make art come alive for children aged 5-12? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as an Art Teacher at SA INSTITUTE.

Position:
Art Teacher (Grades 1-6)

Responsibilities:

Engage and Communicate:

Connect with young learners aged 512 and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain open communication with both students and parents, ensuring a collaborative and positive educational experience.

Set Clear Educational Goals and Themes:

Develop and communicate clear educational goals for each class, encompassing both artistic and developmental milestones.
Infuse creativity by establishing engaging and relevant themes for each class, allowing students to explore various aspects of art while developing their skills.

Effective Classroom Management and Discipline:

Create a conducive environment for learning and creativity by implementing effective classroom management techniques.
Instill discipline through a positive and encouraging approach, fostering a space where students feel inspired to express themselves artistically.

Foundational Drawing and Coloring Focus:

Design classes primarily focused on drawing and coloring, laying a strong foundation for artistic expression.
Encourage students to explore different styles and techniques in drawing and coloring, ensuring a wellrounded understanding of these fundamental skills.

Preparation for Advanced Techniques:

Prepare students for progression to the teen class by building essential skills in drawing, sketching, and coloring.
Introduce the fundamentals of sketching and watercolor or acrylic painting, providing a seamless transition to more advanced art techniques.

Interest Development:

Cultivate the interest of young minds in the world of art through exciting and interactive projects.
Inspire creativity and curiosity by exposing students to various art forms, styles, and cultural influences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
Proven experience in teaching art to elementary school children.
Strong communication skills and ability to connect with both children and parents.
Passion for fostering creativity and artistic development in young learners.

- Établir un lien avec les jeunes apprenants de 5 à 12 ans et favoriser un environnement d'apprentissage collaboratif et inclusif.

Maintenir une communication ouverte avec les élèves et les parents, assurant une expérience éducative positive et collaborative.

Établissement d'Objectifs Éducatifs Clairs et Thèmes:

Développer et communiquer des objectifs éducatifs clairs pour chaque classe, englobant à la fois des jalons artistiques et développementaux.
Insuffler de la créativité en établissant des thèmes engageants et pertinents pour chaque classe, permettant aux élèves d'explorer divers aspects de l'art tout en développant leurs compétences.

Gestion de Classe Efficace et Discipline:

Créer un environnement propice à l'apprentissage et à la créativité en mettant en œuvre des techniques de gestion de classe efficaces.
Inculquer la discipline par une approche positive et encourageante, favorisant un espace où les élèves se sentent inspirés pour s'exprimer artistiquement.
