You as a Construction Site Logistics Planner will be:
Preparing preliminary and final construction logistics plans for the purpose of assisting the estimating and scheduling department on bid proposals
Reading/interpreting bid documents (project specifications, client requirements and drawings) prior to developing a logical and doable construction sequencing which minimize negative impacts to client operations and public health/safety

Preparing construction site plan drawings and visiting construction sites domestically to call out proposed scope related areas on site plans.


Preparing drawings and documents for:

construction traffic, material flows and maintenance of fire routes, potential staging process and material storage, trailer compound, tower cranes, construction hoists and other construction equipment, construction parking, site offices, etc.

Planning and developing logistics construction phasing and sequencing drawings in collaboration with site teams and other technical teams in the company such as schedulers, estimators, VDC-BIM, Safety, Sustainability and Environmental.

Producing technical write-ups describing details of construction site logistics and construction means and methods.
Attending site visits to potential and future job sites and ongoing construction projects sites
Working in a collaborative team environment with other Site Logistics team members as well as with site teams from all across Canada
Identifying constraints and risks related to construction projects and providing technical solutions
Investigating construction innovations in methodology and equipment in use around the world
Disseminating efficiencies, improvements, and lessons-learned throughout the company and promoting implementation

Is this the right role for you?

Civil Engineering degree or Civil Engineering Technologist diploma or equivalent and construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience working on construction projects (Design Build, P3, Residential, Commercial, Institutional or Healthcare)
You have knowledge of construction planning and setting up construction sites.
You have the ability to identify challenges and constraints, evaluate alternatives and produce workable solutions
Strong skills set in Revit, and BlueBeam.
Experience producing engineering drawings and details with respect to construction sequencing and site logistics.
Strong communication skills
