Description

The St-Augustin private seniors' residence is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time night beneficiary attendant position. This opportunity serves as a maternity leave replacement.

Paid mileage bonus, $2 night bonus will be provided. To qualify for this role, candidates must have one of the following certifications:

1. DEP beneficiary attendant
2. RAC certificate
3. 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16 hours up to date + PDSB completed

In this role, you will administer medication according to safety principles and ethical codes. You will also assist residents with mobility needs, report any changes in their mental or physical health to the on-call nurse, contribute to adjusting action plans based on observations, provide proactive support and adhere to regulations in accordance with certification standards and employer policies.

You will work collaboratively with different teams to carry out health and hygiene care while maintaining resident dignity and integrity. Additionally, you will respond promptly to emergencies and answer call bells timely.
