About the Kwantlen Student Association

The Kwantlen Student Association (KSA) is the official student society representing over 20,000 KPU students across five campuses in Surrey, Langley, Richmond, and Cloverdale.

The KSA is responsible for providing a range of student services and advocating to protect and advance students' rights and interests.

The KSA runs the Grassroots Café, providing food, beverage, and catering services — providing student employment and generating revenue for our student services.

Serving a richly diverse membership, the KSA is governed by a board of directors (called Council) elected annually by and from KPU students.

An Executive Committee supports that governance work by providing day-to-day elected leadership, and the KSA's operations are managed by an Executive Director and professional staff team.

About this opportunity

The KSA's Technical Services Manager, reporting to the Executive Director, leads the implementation and maintenance of the KSA's information technology (IT) systems, and manages the KSA's technical staff and the KSA's Reboot device repair program, which provides repair and troubleshooting services for KPU students' devices.

As the KSA's Technical Services Manager, working closely with the Executive Director and student leadership, you would play a critical role developing, implementing, and evaluating the KSA's information technology systems to ensure that the KSA has an IT infrastructure that supports excellent service delivery and team member success.

Some of your key responsibilities and functions as the KSA's Technical Services Manager would include:

  • Building and supporting a team of technical staff including an IT specialist and the Reboot program's technician in the delivery of highquality internal and studentfacing IT services across the portfolio, including developing training on student services and supporting staff performance and development.
