Our client has a long-standing strong partnership within the Canadian Commercial Insurance Market. They are looking to hire an Independent Multi-Line Claims Adjuster (in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec) to join their expanding Canadian Loss Adjusting Practice.

They are looking for candidates who have experience adjusting large complex risks as a 3rd party adjuster. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate claims settlements from start to finish and manage a caseload efficiently
• Work within the claims framework to enhance service delivery and build and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate in team efforts to meet goals, representing the company in internal and external meetings, and driving efficiencies in claims processes and systems.
• Strong technical understanding of Commercial Property, Equipment, Commercial General Liability, Construction, Environmental, and specialty lines claims.
• Manage moderate to complex and large losses, catering to carriers, brokers, and corporate clients.
• Have an established market presence and client network

Requirements:

• University degree
• CIP/FCIP designation, or progress towards it
• At least 8 years of experience in managing complex claims
• Deep knowledge of the insurance/reinsurance market, including familiarity with the London commercial insurance market
• Strong local market connections
• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred (for Quebec location)
