Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep all common areas and restrooms clean and wellstocked.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and repairing minor plumbing issues.
  • Perform minor repairs on doors, windows, walls, and other building components as needed.
  • Knowledge of minor demolition, electricity, drywall, and carpentry
  • Conduct minor demolition, electrical, drywall and carpentry work in the building when needed.
  • Monitor the building for any security issues and report any suspicious activity to management.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as floods or power outages, as needed.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Previous custodial and handyman experience required.
  • Knowledge of minor demolition, electricity, drywall, and carpentry
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and climb stairs.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Willingness to live onsite.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous custodial and handyman experience required
