    Responsibilities

    Budget and Administration:

  • manage and administer Sow to Sew Budget
  • manage purchasing and supplies
  • responsible for HR related payments of honoraria, timesheets and stipends to Guest Speakers, Student Assistants and Artist in Residence
  • Prepare mid-term and final project reports
  • Human Resources, Staff Management and Support:

  • Responsible for managing recruitment of guest speakers, Artists in Residents, student assistants and volunteers to support Sow to Sew Programming
  • Manage Honoria, timesheets and stipends
  • Project Documentation and Media:

  • Ensure that project activities are documented; photo and video
  • Manage consent to share documentation.
  • Work with NSCAD communications to share progress through social media, website and field media requests
  • What you'll need

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree plus 3 years related experience is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience administering a budget is required. Very good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively are essential and well developed organizational and time management skills are required. Skills must include proficiency with Microsoft programs including SharePoint, Teams , Excel and Office 365. Previous experience working is a post-secondary setting is an asset.
