Dental Receptionist - Saanichton, Canada - Elk Lake Dentistry

Hours are 8AM-4PM, no evenings, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Part-time can be accommodate if preferred. Flexible Start date. Competitive compensation negotiable based on qualifications and experience.


Requirements:

• Team player and willingness to help with chair side duties, room turn over and sterilization. Non administrative responsibilities are limited and training will be provided.

• Desire to learn dental terminology and understand dental procedures, which may include the opportunity to observe some dental treatments.

Duties include and are not limited to:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Running errands
• Managing social media
• Managing patient recalls
• Assisting patients to fill out digital information forms.
• Updating patient digital records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
• Scheduling followup appointments and providing reminders.
• Communicating with dental insurance providers, sending electronic and paper insurance claims
• Collecting payments and preparing billing statements
• Preparing and sending patient referrals
• Treatment planning preauthorization and presentation to patients
• Help with operatory room turn over and sterilization
• Maintain a clean and tidy reception and patient waiting areas

$28.00-$36.00 per hour
