Description

The MAINTENANCE/CLEANING STAFF are responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, cleaning and customer service of the Summerside Residents Association (SSRA) amenities and facilities.

As a member of our team you will need to perform (but not limited to) the following tasks:

Safety:

Managing and maintaining the SSRA safety program
Understanding the rights and responsibilities of all employees under the SSRA safety policy
Ensuring all Workplace Health and Safety requirements are met including SSRA's safety policies and procedures
Ensuring safe work conditions exist at all times
Complete incident reports when necessary

Operational Functions:

Enforce all SSRA rules
Cleaning of all facilities and amenities
Weeding, watering and general turf maintenance of all SSRA property including emptying garbage cans
Ensure beach, park, play structures and all other equipment are clean and in good repair
Opening and locking of buildings as required
Administrative tasks as directed
Report/repair damaged or vandalized property
Trash collection and general clean up

Pre-requisites/Experience:

Professional cleaning experience
High School or equivalent education
Ability to work independently and within time constraints
Subject to a Criminal Background check
Valid Class 5 driver's license clean abstract required
First Aid Certificate an asset
Passion and desire to clean and work outdoors

Employment Details:

Year-round, Full-time/part-time permanent 30-40 hours per week

Shifts may include evening, weekends, and statutory holidays. The following description does not include any unforeseen circumstances that require extra attention.
