Account Manager
With an expansive growth strategy in play, National Shunt Service LTD (NSSL) is looking to expand our team.
NSSL is hiring an Account Manager to ensure the needs our customers are met, and to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers as well as develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
This will be a flexible (hybrid) position located in our Vaughn office reporting into the US. The incumbent can expect Travel within Canada and to the US.Who will succeed in this role:

Main Responsibilities:
- Strategic management of assigned accounts to ensure overall account performance including client satisfaction, risk management, contractual obligations, sales growth and financial performance and profitability.
- Actively sells additional services to existing clients and new business leads
- Facilitates contract renewals, scope changes, rate increases adjustments etc.
- Partner with Operations to deliver outstanding client relations
- Through strategic management, successfully promote, and maintain a positive work environment and external customer relationships to improve customer engagement, and sales.
- Research, collect and prepare all data for Statement of work and Proposals.
- Score and present Request for Proposals to Leadership and Operations
- Build and maintain a Request for Information Answer Key
- Communicates with internal departments and team to provide exceptional service, provide trouble free account operation, and identify and resolve problems or issues
- Prepares and delivers the Strategic Client Reviews, annual account assessments, and preparing and presenting final presentation, etc
- Prepare and deliver various reports to Leadership
- Assist in developing the Operation team's client relations skills
- Proactively performs industry and market trend reviews
- Maintains professional business network
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years of multi account experience
- Experience in 3rd party logistics or transportation an asset
- Self motivated and results oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and relationship management skills
- Strategic planning and analytical skills
- Strong Business acumen
- Strong negotiations skills with the ability to "close the deal"
- Outstanding customer service/client engagement skills
- Capacity to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency with CRM
