Job Summary
The Clinical Account Executive is responsible for Sales of all Masimo products in the assigned territory.


Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital) to the use of Masimo products in an highlycompetitive market.
• Engage in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo technology as the new standard of care in pulseoximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters' monitoring systems.
• Ability to make product demonstrations and negotiations both with physicians and hospital administrators (biomedical engineers, purchasing managers, etc.)
• Partner with appropriate Distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts.
• Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements.
• Participate to hospital bid tenders.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products and inservice endusers.
• Provide regular sales forecasts to upper management.
• Manage expense budget for all required activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value based solutions.
• Direct selling experience in highlycompetitive markets.
• Experience calling on physicians and hospital administrators (biomedical engineers, purchasing managers).
• Experience working with Distributors and OEM sales personnel.
• Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Results oriented with a positive "can do" attitude and a sense of urgency to get things done.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable in high visibility situations and exhibits strong selfconfidence.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional ability to lead group presentations.
• Demonstrated selfstarter; a "handson" individual who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with mínimal support and direction. Accustomed to a heavy travel schedule.
• Must be PC literate, have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or similar level of education


Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office and field environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking, and the ability to lift and carry maximum 50 lbs.

Must be able to handle a heavy travel schedule, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license is required.
