Rollins Machinery, a BC-based equipment company, is currently looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of
_Branch Manager_ - based out of our Chemainus Office on Vancouver Island.

Rollins is privately held and been in business since 1946.

We are a multi-industry, multi-line dealer selling equipment to Municipalities, Farms, Golf courses, and Private contractors in markets that include refuse, sewer & water, golf & sports turf and roadside maintenance.


  • Reports directly to the President of Rollins Machinery
  • Supports the Outside Sales staff and is prepared to directly sell with walkin customers coming into the branch
  • Responsible for the overall profitability of the branch including equipment and parts/service revenue
  • Develops, communicates, and monitors effective Branch processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the effective delivery of equipment, product and services to customers
  • Oversee and direct new sales activities for geographical area(s) managed.
  • Lead customer retention initiatives
  • Oversee daily operations and liaise on staff scheduling, performance & safety concerns
  • Lead, mentor coach and develop branch staff by providing clear direction, guidance and support to achieve the overall business strategy and objectives
  • Develop and mentor talent within the team
  • Monitor financials and activities of branch budget plan. Deliver on budgeted financial contribution.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a field operations role with a customer service focus, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory / management capacity
  • A background in Sales would be an asset
  • Ability to lead and manage change, and to coach and mentor performance development
  • Proven track record of recognizing and providing excellent customer service
  • Strong business acumen with a good financial understanding of the heavy equipment vertical
  • Fixed knowledge in overall operations and management in a retail environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Excellent customer service skills, both inperson and over the phone
  • High School Diploma, plus completion of specialized technical or business courses at the college level
  • Valid BC Driver's License, with a clean driver's abstract
