We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the many workforce and Business HR initiatives in support of our LTC growth strategies, developing and executing these projects across business.

Reporting to the Sr.

Director, Human Resources, this position has the flexibility to work from home but will require regular travel to our Corporate Office located in Markham, Ontario and to our different home/facility locations.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Work as part of the crossfunctional teams to oversee the evaluation, execution and reporting of workforce and Business HR strategies related to LTC HR initiatives, including but not limited to Redevelopment of LTC homes, integration of newly acquired homes, offboarding/home closures, HR systems optimization and data configuration.
  • Act as a strategic partner for business and workforce needs, identify opportunities and provide recommendations to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with HR COEs to develop and maintain project plans and track the progress of key initiatives for all HR work streams related to business HR projects.
  • Partner with Business HR Advisors/HRBP and business leaders to develop communication, change management and implementation strategies across the impacted businesses.
  • Develop strong crossfunctional relationships to drive key initiatives.
  • Develop reports and presentations for key stakeholders, as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources; 57 years progressive human resources with experience managing interdisciplinary projects;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered asset
  • Work experience in long term care/healthcare and unionized environments is preferred and will be an asset to your success in this role;
  • Proven organizational skills and experience managing large complex project implementations;
  • Strong business acumen and comfort using data to drive insights and recommendations;
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills;
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of leaders within the organization.
