Duties:


  • Safely operate a 3ton or van to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
  • Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Plan routes and delivery schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer requirements
  • Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and mileage logs

  • Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of transportation and shipping/receiving processes an asset
  • Familiarity with the computer systems used for tracking shipments
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently for data entry purposes
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel

$18.50-$23.00 per hour
