Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview:

To assist the Shared Health OESH Administration team with day-to-day data entry, filing and other manual clerical tasks.


Experience:


  • Experience using PHIMS is desirable or an equivalent data system.
  • Experience working with Iron Mountain or an equivalent archiving system.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience working with SAP or an equivalent HR system.
  • Extensive workrelated experience performing clerical functions on computer systems.
  • One year directly related experience.
  • Previous healthcare experience would be an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):


  • Complete high school education Manitoba standards, required.
  • Formal training in applied office skills is an asset.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with team members, clients, and the general public.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting demands.
  • Strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally.

Physical Requirements:


  • May be required to work for long periods of time at a computer.
  • May be required to work for long periods of standing / kneeling.
  • May be required to travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
