    Position Summary
The incumbent is a key player in meeting daily operational requirements and expectations of the Drug Management Solutions Team.

Working in a fast-paced environment, the incumbent is apt at multi-tasking and manipulating large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains provincial formularies and supports pricing analytics and benefit updates;
  • Maintains price files and payment packages;
  • Manages processes such as system adjustments, quality assurance and communication updates;
  • Responds to inquiries to support the operational areas with respect to drug management issues;
  • Supports activities related to market growth, including onboarding of new groups, changes to existing drug plans and programs, and drugs exemptions;
  • Creates and updates drug prior authorization request forms in support of our special authorization drug process;
  • Works in a team environment to deliver quality operational service;
  • Develops and maintains detailed process documentation for all related aspects of the role.

Required Qualifications
-
Education: College or other post-secondary education in healthcare, business, or a related field;
-
Work Experience:Two or more years of related experience with preferred attention given to pharmacy technician or clinical experience; Experience in group insurance and operations would be considered an asset

Other Qualifications: Good foundation in data analysis; Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills, deadline driven; Able to work independently and with mínimal supervision;
-
Computer Skills: Agile in using the MS Office Suite of products and manipulating data; Basic knowledge of Excel formulas and functions with willingness to expand proficiency;

Language Skills:
Must be fluently Bilingual (English and French) both written and verbal in order to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders in both official languages
