Description

We're looking for a Full Time Design Consultant to join our sales team, someone who is knowledgeable, highly motivated and interested in the furniture industry.

As a Design Consultant at Park Furnishings, you will be responsible for providing our clients with important information that will enable them to make the best decision when purchasing furniture.

By sharing your knowledge and passion of interior design, you will be able to guide the client through their purchasing process.

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store
• Build relationships to grow and maintain a strong client base
• Operating and managing financial transactions
• Continuously updating the knowledge of the company products, services, and policies
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
• Crossselling lighting

• 3 years retail sales experience in the furniture industry
• Interior design background
• Completion of high school education
• A professional appearance and maturity
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction
• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Proficient use of computers
• Works well in a team environment or on their own without supervision
• Licensed to drive (preferred)
• Available to work at least one late evening per week and Saturdays
