SaskTel is currently looking for an Account Executive - Small-Medium Business to join our Business Sales & Solutions Division in Saskatoon

Accountability
In this position, you will establish credibility with customers by gaining a thorough understanding of their business needs. This will be done by assessing, consulting and providing recommendations regarding ICT solutions that address their business requirements.

You will also collaborate with Sales teams and proactively engage in lead generation and opportunities to pursue, negotiate and execute Sales agreements.

You will develop and employ appropriate competitive sales strategies, and continually modify these strategies to meet changing circumstances with a focus on growth of new revenue for ICT services by incorporating sales coaching aligned to ICT product opportunities.

Our customers' needs and satisfaction must be met or exceeded at all times; therefore, this role is also responsible for creating, influencing and directing cross-functional teams to assist in the implementation of ICT products and services through to the delivery process.

  • Degree or Certificate in Business Administration or Commerce, OR equivalent education and/or experience with a minimum of 5 years of significant and relevant sales/consulting experience in ICT.
  • Thorough knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • IP Networks or Broadband networks (wireline and wireless)
  • Convergence & Hosted Applications
  • IP and Cloudbased services
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and effectively communicate technological concepts to clients and stakeholders at all organizational levels using both written and verbal methods.
  • Outstanding consultative selling, analytical skills and business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of business fundamentals including finance, marketing, business, planning and communication.
  • Extensive knowledge of competitive communication industry trends, ICT issues and technologies.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Demonstrated sales ability in highly competitive industries.
  • Experience leading strategic projects involving cross functional groups (project management skills would be a strong asset).
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent ability to plan and organize in a selfdirected environment.
  • Excellent decisionmaking ability.
  • Valid driver's license.


This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys a challenge and will establish their own presence in Western Canada.

The minimum base pay for this role is $84, 289 with potential to exceed a base of $112, 386 annually, plus a competitive variable incentive plan and benefits package for a combined total income greater than base salary.
