We are looking for a Utility Services Planner to support our Planners and Dispatchers in the Work Management department. This role provides you with a close-up look at Enbridge's operations.
Our Planners are primarily responsible for balancing customer requests, crafting a well-built work plan to ensure field resources are productive, and ensuring Operating Standard compliance due dates are met.
The Utility Services Planner plays a significant role in safety for the field ensuring job packages are fully completed, all safety notes are updated and/or actioned and all notifications internally and externally have been made.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
- Creating, committing, scheduling and assigning future utility services work ensuring all work is scheduled to be completed by due date and/or committed date with customer. Work will include written or verbal customer correspondence.
- Ensure that the work assignment optimizes the productive time of resources and work is planned in a reasonable, efficient and safe manner.
- Coordinate availability of required equipment and work with external and internal customers such as Utility Services, Distribution Services Development (including Mapping), Station Measurement Corrosion, etc. Prepares and distributes Construction Maintenance work packages and job planning envelopes as required for Utility Services.
- Responsible for inputting future changes in resource availability on the system and adjusting work plan (flex, illness, project work, skill sets, etc.). Primary contact to address workload issues or changes for next day or future date.-
- Monitor meter inventory and reordering of meter materials.
- Perform other departmental duties as required.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
- You have a minimum secondary school education.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of learning and interpreting company policies, procedures and work codes.
- Must be able to print and write in a legible manner.
- Work responsibly under direct and indirect supervision.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
The Following Would Be An Asset:
- Post-secondary education preferred.-
- Experience in field operations preferred.
