The Total Rewards Associate Consultant is part of the Total Rewards team within HRHSE.

Position Summary:


The Total Rewards Associate Consultant is a key client-facing role on our Total Rewards team and is responsible for providing support to clients across the University in the areas of Job Evaluation, Job Design, Organizational Design, and Compensation.


Through strong client service and relationship building, Total Rewards Associate Consultants work to understand client business objectives and needs, and then tailor their support and advice to ensure the clients are set up to deliver on their strategy and objectives.

Associate Consultants take a holistic approach to service, ensuring all aspects of Total Rewards are considered when providing guidance to clients.


Duties:

Total Rewards Associate Consultants are responsible for providing proactive, solutions-focused support to an assigned group of clients in the following areas:


Job Evaluation & Design:


  • Analyze and evaluate a variety of positions using various job evaluation methodologies including Korn Ferry Hay and Aiken.
  • Assists clients in designing jobs and organizational structures.
  • Support job evaluation and job designrelated projects, as required.

Compensation:


  • Support clients to set salaries for new hires, transfers, promotions, etc. Ensure that the University is being consistent and fair in how salaries are assigned. Conduct internal and external market data to provide recommendations on salary placement.
  • Provide market insight to clients pertaining to key roles/job families within their client groups. Provide proactive data/information on new trends in the market.
  • Participate in salary surveys to gather market data and ensure our compensation programs are competitive and attract and retain top talent.
  • Support compensationrelated projects and initiatives, as required.

Organizational Design:


  • Work closely with Organizational Design Consultants, the Senior Job and Organizational Design Specialist, HR Partners, and clients to develop organizational design strategies customized to meet business objectives and talent management strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders regarding confidential and sensitive organizational design and development, including supporting organizational change management, restructuring, and workforce planning.
- organizational design framework/approach to help clients assess and optimize organizational structure. Help clients align structure to support and enable operating model and organizational strategy.


Total Rewards Associate Consultants are also involved in projects that expose them to other areas of HR and provide opportunities to learn about the University.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 35 years of relevant experience within an HR environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prefer to have experience in job evaluation, job design, compensation, and/or organizational design.
  • Experience with the Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation method is preferred.
